Andrzej Dutkanicz is an abstract painter living in New Haven, CT. His work examines the relationship between spiritual exploration and individual expression. Andrzej’s process evolves from symmetrical arrangements and how they interact with a spontaneous mark and texture. The controlled and the automatic grow and change together, allowing the viewer's eyes to move along the work, discovering a multitude of synergy.

Andrzej studied painting at Southern Connecticut State University. He has shown in galleries in the Connecticut area, such as 63 Audubon in New Haven, and Forest to Shore Gallery in Stratford, CT.
